Privacy Policy - Ledge Personal Finance Manager

1. Introduction

Welcome to Ledge (“the App”), a personal finance management application developed by Verni Interface. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of Ledge on Android.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. The short version: Ledge is a local-first app. Your financial data never leaves your device.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

Ledge does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following on our servers:

Personal identification information (name, email address, phone number)
Financial data, transactions, or account balances you enter into the app
Location data
Device identifiers or advertising IDs
Usage analytics or behavioral data

All data you enter into Ledge is stored exclusively on your device and is never sent to Verni Interface or any third party by us.

3. In-App Purchases & Subscription

Ledge offers an optional premium subscription to unlock additional features. Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing. When you make a purchase:

Payment information is handled solely by Google. Verni Interface does not receive or store your payment details.
Google may share with us a confirmation of your purchase status (e.g., whether you hold an active subscription) via Google Play’s licensing mechanism. This is used only to unlock premium features within the app.
No personal or financial details from your payment are accessible to us.

4. Local Data Storage

All financial records, accounts, transactions, and settings you create in Ledge are stored locally on your Android device using the device’s internal storage. This data:

Is not backed up to any Verni Interface server
Is not shared with any third party by us
May be included in Android system backups (e.g., Google One Backup) if you have enabled this on your device - this is controlled entirely by your Android settings and Google, not by us

If you uninstall Ledge, your locally stored data will be permanently deleted from your device unless you have a system backup in place.

5. Third-Party Services

Ledge integrates with the following third-party service solely for purchase processing:

Google Play Billing - used to process subscription and one-time purchase transactions. Subject to Google’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate any advertising SDKs, analytics platforms, or crash reporting tools that collect personal data.

6. Children’s Privacy

Ledge is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us so we can address it.

7. Data Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, the security of your data depends on your device’s security settings (e.g., screen lock, encryption). We recommend keeping your device’s operating system and security settings up to date.

8. Your Rights & Data Deletion

Because Ledge does not collect or store personal data on our servers, there is no personal data held by Verni Interface for you to request access to or deletion of. To delete your app data:

Uninstall the App from your device, or
Go to Android Settings → Apps → Ledge → Storage → Clear Data

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this document. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
